Know IP address of machine on Solaris

You can use host command to know the IP address of your host machine.

$host devzone-ajaved
devzone-ajaved has address 10.27.111.126

for further informations on name server lookup, you can use nslookup command
as follows

$nslookup devzone-ajaved
Server: 10.27.111.126
Address: 10.27.111.126#53

Name: devzone-ajaved.sfo1.us.xxx.net
Address: 10.27.111.126
